UPOM is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting to protect the property rights of Montana landowners and maintain Montana’s traditional hunting heritage. About JOINING AND CONTRIBUTING TO UPOM:
UPOM is organized as a non-profit 501(c)6 Business League. As such, we are required to restrict our “members” to businesses only, meaning that individuals may not deduct a contribution to UPOM for their personal income taxes, and voting rights in the organization are restricted to business entities. However, any individual may still contribute to UPOM to support our cause. The suggested contribution amounts are minimums and there is no maximum limit to how much an individual or business can contribute. We have the following membership tiers:
- LANDOWNER MEMBER: $50 or more (manage/own/lease a minimum of 160 acres)
Landowner members will have voting rights in UPOM, Inc. as controlling members. - ALLIED BUSINESS MEMBER: $25 or more (businesses that support hunting in Montana)
Associate members with no voting rights. - SUPPORTER: $25 or more (support private property rights and hunting in Montana)
Supporters are not members and do not have voting rights, but their support is deeply appreciated.
All contributors will be added to our email list and will receive our newsletter.
